B"H, Rabbi Yisroel Bal Shem Tov wrote a letter

to one of his students living in Israel. (This letter

is printed at the beginning of a Chassidus book called

Keser Shem Tov.) In that letter the Bal Shem Tov tells

that on Rosh HaShanah in the year 5,507 he did

what is called "Aliyas HaNeshama". (This means that

the Bal Shem Tov with his supernatural G-dly powers

caused his soul to go up from his body and enter the

higher spiritual worlds above where G-d and G-dliness

are openly revealed.

The Bal Shem Tov tells of a number of extremely

wonderous things that he saw and experienced while there.

Then, at the climactic point of the letter the Bal Shem Tov

tells of how he entered the Palace of the Moshiach,

the Messiah, and that he asked the Moshiach when he

would come. And the Moshiach answered the Bal Shem Tov

as to when he, the Moshiach, will come. To quote exactly

the letter of the Bal Shem Tov--- "...until that I entered into the

Palace of the Moshiach that there the Moshiach is

learning Torah with all of the Tana'im (Sages of the

Mishnah), and the Tzaddikim (holy righteous people)

and also with the Seven Shepards (Moses Aharon etc..);

and there I (the Bal Shem Tov) saw an extremely great joy;

and I do not know the cause of this joy; and I thought

that this joy was G-d forbid because I had passed

away from the physical world; and they informed me

afterward that I had not passed away yet; that they have

a pleasure above (in the higher worlds) when I create

Supernal unities below (in the physical world) through

their Holy Toras; but, the nature of this joy I do not

know until this day; and I (the Bal Shem Tov) asked the

Moshiach- when are you coming Sir? And he (the Moshiach)

answered me--- with this will you know, at the time that

there will be publicized your (the Bal Shem Tov's) teaching

and that it will be revealed in the world, and when there

will spread to the outside your (the Bal Shem Tov's)

wellsprings (meaning the Chassidus of the Bal Shem Tov).

According to the Lubavitcher Rebbe it is an absolute

fact that the wellsprings of the Chassidus of the Bal Shem

Tov have been spread out to the outside, all over the world.

(Especially as the ultimate manifestation of the Chassidus

of the Bal Shem Tov is in Chabad-Lubavitch Chassidus,

as all of the Lubavitcher Rebbe's are the successors to the

Bal Shem Tov.) So, according to the Lubavitcher Rebbe

exactly right now is THE TIME for the Moshiach to come.
